  1. Cook potatoes. You can cook them any method that you wish. I typically boil the diced potatoes about 10 minutes then drain.
  2. Melt butter, add flour and cook on low heat, stirring until smooth, stir for one minute adding milk (turn up heat to medium).
  3. Stir until thick and bubbly.
  4. Stir in potatoes, cheese, salt, pepper, bacon, green onions and sour cream.
  5. Cook until heated. Do not boil!

    Thank you for your question. Yes, the potatoes should be peeled and diced before cooking. I updated the recipe to include this info.
